I just got early access to @openart_ai Director.

As someone who loves cinematic storytelling, what impressed me most is how natural the creative process feels.

Instead of fighting with prompts, I found myself building stories, shaping characters, refining scenes, and directing emotions through conversation.

Working on projects like *The Betrayal* genuinely felt less like prompting AI and more like directing a film.

Excited to see how far this can push AI filmmaking and long form storytelling.

Huge thanks to the OpenArt team for the opportunity.

THE LAST OATH

I tested the new Director feature from @openart_ai to create a movie trailer starting with nothing more than a simple idea.

Instead of generating a single clip from a prompt, Director handles much of the filmmaking process automatically. You provide the concept, and it creates the characters, environment sheets, storyboards, video scenes, audio, and even assembles everything into a complete trailer.

It feels much closer to a real film production workflow, where the focus shifts from prompting individual shots to directing the overall creative vision.

There is still room for greater creative control and refinement, but this is a fascinating glimpse into where AI filmmaking is heading.

Created with OpenArt Director.

Before They Don’t Care About Us became one of Michael Jackson’s most powerful songs, it started with a simple rhythm and an idea.

This rare moment shows Michael developing the song in real time, building the percussion, melody, and energy that would eventually become one of the most politically charged records of his career. It’s a reminder that behind the performances, the videos, and the fame was a musician constantly creating, experimenting, and shaping ideas into global anthems.

Released in 2003 as the final single from Meteora, Numb became one of Linkin Park’s most recognizable and impactful songs.

Built around its iconic piano melody and Chester Bennington’s emotionally charged vocals, the track explores the pressure of trying to meet other people’s expectations while losing sight of your own identity. That honesty helped the song connect with millions of listeners and turn it into one of the defining rock anthems of the 2000s.

I got exclusive early access to OpenArt Director and here's what I made 🎥 #openartdirector

Proof that you can clean an entire house and mentally prepare for company in exactly 45 seconds flat. Don’t look too closely behind the curtains... or our frozen faces. 😅

During the Funhouse Tour, P!nk transformed Please Don’t Leave Me from a catchy pop hit into one of the most memorable performances of the entire show.

Rather than perform the song straight, she embraced its playful, obsessive lyrics and built a theatrical character around it. Combined with the tour’s circus-inspired staging, choreography, and larger-than-life visuals, the performance felt more like a musical scene than a traditional concert number.

“yakin ngoni orang Manado nda mo blajar?”

OpenArt Director is a new feature from @openart_ai that will be publicly released on June 23, 2026. It’s designed to help creators build stories, short films, commercials, and AI-powered visual projects with a complete end-to-end workflow.

After trying it myself, I have to admit... this feels pretty amazing.

This is the longest AI-generated short video I’ve ever created, reaching almost 3 minutes in length😭. But what impressed me most wasn’t the duration it was the creative freedom. 🚀

Instead of generating isolated clips, I was able to think more like a director: shaping the story, exploring ideas, building scenes, and letting my imagination flow from beginning to end.

For me, AI is at its best when it doesn’t replace creativity, but expands it.

OpenArt Director feels less like a tool and more like a creative playground where ideas can finally breathe.

The future of storytelling is getting very interesting.

World Cup fever is everywhere — from remote villages to big cities, from adults to kids… and even robots.

This time, a little boy named Dhani plays football juggling with Loko / Spoorbot inside a railway depot in Indonesia. A playful moment where football, imagination, and technology come together in one cinematic scene.

This generative AI video was created using Seedance 2.0 and the Director feature on @openart_ai

If the last hit looks like every other hit, the fight just stops instead of ending. The finisher needs a build — a moment where everything slows, the fighter gathers everything left, and the camera commits to the single decisive strike. Telegraph it, slow it, and let it land with full finality so the audience knows this is the one.
Example: the classic beat — the hero is on the ropes, takes a breath, the music drops out, time stretches, and they wind up the one punch that ends it. Rocky, Warrior, every great sports drama earns the knockout by treating it differently from the hundred hits before it. Make your final blow look and feel unlike anything earlier in the fight.

5. 파도 너머

To create this episode, I used early access to OpenArt Director provided by the OpenArt team.

I started with the script, and Director helped me turn it into a complete video by building scenes, adapting moments for the screen all through conversation. What I found most interesting is that it didn't feel like traditional prompting. It felt more like vibe directing describing what I wanted, reacting to the results, giving feedback, and gradually shaping each scene until it matched my vision.

Being able to iterate this way made it much easier to create complex scenes while keeping the creative process relaxed and enjoyable. Every generation became part of an ongoing back and forth conversation that helped improve the final result.

Honestly, tools like this make me even more excited about the future of video creation. It's fascinating to see how quickly these creative workflows are evolving.

Two veterans walking to a championship arena. A quiet talk through a yellow field. They never noticed the two beasts already stalking them.
By the time they turned around, the sparring partner had found them.

One minute. Three arcs the walk, the engagement, the comeback.

I didn't write this as prompts. I directed it. Inside @openart_ai Director, I shaped every beat through conversation the slowmo on the counter, the ramp into arc three, the held breath before the finishing blow. The only way I can describe it is vibe directing.
You're not prompting anymore. You're vibe directing.

A cybersecurity professional can, in some cases, disrupt or take down a consumer drone using a Python script—but not by “hacking the drone directly” in a movie-style way. 🛸💻

Most drones rely on Wi-Fi, radio frequencies, or GPS to communicate with their controllers, which means they can be vulnerable to wireless protocol weaknesses. Security researchers sometimes use tools written in Python (such as Scapy) to interact with network traffic and test these weaknesses in controlled environments.

One common example is a deauthentication attack, where spoofed network packets can force a device to disconnect from its controller. When this happens, the drone may trigger fail-safe behavior like landing or returning home. However, this is strictly a research technique, heavily regulated in many places, and not something used in real-world “take downs” outside of authorized testing environments.

By 2000, Eminem had become one of the biggest artists in the world, but The Way I Am showed the cost that came with it.

Written as a response to growing fame, media scrutiny, and industry pressure, the song became one of the most personal tracks on The Marshall Mathers LP. What makes it even more significant is that Eminem produced the beat himself, making it one of his earliest major solo production credits and giving the track an even more personal feel.

A solar eclipse occurs when the Moon passes directly between Earth and the Sun, perfectly aligning to block the Sun’s light. 🌒

Even though the Sun is about 400 times larger than the Moon, it is also about 400 times farther away, which is why both appear almost the same size in our sky.

During totality, the Moon fully covers the Sun, revealing the corona—its outer atmosphere—and briefly turning daylight into an eerie twilight. It’s a rare cosmic alignment that makes eclipses one of the most striking events visible from Earth. ☀️

This might be one of the most emotional uses of AI yet. 👀 Instead of creating something entirely new, creators are using AI to craft cinematic tributes that recreate the feeling, style, and presence of legendary performers. When done respectfully and clearly presented as fiction or homage, these projects can evoke powerful memories for audiences.

For many people, artists like Michael Jackson, Paul Walker, Chadwick Boseman, Robin Williams, Bruce Lee, and Bernie Mac left a lasting impact that extends far beyond their work. AI is opening new creative possibilities for honoring their legacy through visual storytelling, allowing fans to reconnect with the emotions their performances inspired in ways that weren’t previously possible.

As the technology evolves, it also raises important questions about ethics, consent, and authenticity. The most meaningful tributes aren’t about replacing the people behind the art—they’re about celebrating the legacy they left behind while using AI responsibly and transparently. 🎬🤖

I got early access to @openart_ai 𝗗𝗶𝗿𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗼𝗿. And I did not expect it to hit this hard.

Most AI video tools still make you fight through technical prompts. You end up spending more time engineering language than actually directing. The vision gets buried somewhere between the tokens.

OpenArt AI Director feels different.

For my first test, I created a Battlefield 6-inspired jet combat sequence, fast aerial movement, high-altitude tension, cinematic pacing, the whole thing. I did not over-explain. I just described the mood, the energy, the intent.
And the output on the very first go was genuinely wild.

What surprised me most was how naturally it thinks like a director. It picks up on mood, movement, and cinematic feel without needing a technical breakdown. You give it context. It gives you cinema.

This feels like the beginning of something real, This is '𝙑𝙞𝙗𝙚 𝘿𝙞𝙧𝙚𝙘𝙩𝙞𝙣𝙜!!'
Where beginners, creators, and filmmakers can finally lead with vision and emotion instead of getting stuck on the technical side of production.

The prompt era gave us tools. The direction era gives us cinema.

Creating films with OpenArt Director @openart_ai is actually great fun.

It’s an amazing experience to give the Director your script, your characters, your story — and then guide it with mood, atmosphere, shots, angles, rhythm and emotion.

What I really love is that Director doesn’t just follow the script. It reads it, analyzes it, reads between the lines — and then somehow dreams it up.

And the better, more professional script you bring in, the more professional the result becomes. That’s a very important thing. This tool understands structure, emotion, rhythm — even cinematic lingo. You can speak to it like a filmmaker.

That’s the cool part.

For storytellers, this feels like a completely new way of creating films. Like bringing dreams straight from your head onto the screen.

I call it vibe directing.

And honestly, at this point the most important question is not whether you have the tools.

The tools are here.

The real question is: do you have something to say?

I highly recommend trying OpenArt Director.

And here’s something really exciting: OpenArt Director is not publicly available yet. The official launch is coming on June 23, but thanks to exclusive early access, I have three codes to give away right now.

Among everyone who follows Too Poetic Films now, I will randomly choose three people who will receive a code and get a chance to try this amazing new filmmaking tool before the public launch.

The giveaway will be resolved on June 21, and the three selected people will receive their codes that day.

So follow Too Poetic Films @too_poetic_films — and maybe one of these early access codes will go to you.
